What is Pure Haven Essentials?
Pure Haven Essentials is an MLM company that offers a range of health and beauty products.
Besides, they’re also providing MLM business opportunity for people who decide to make money by marketing their products.
However, this company has a shady background that not many people seem to be aware of it.
Pure Haven Essentials didn’t always have this name. It’s actually a rebranding of Ava Anderson Non-Toxic.
In other words, Ava Anderson Non-Toxic is the predecessor of Pure Haven Essentials, which is also a health and beauty MLM company.
As the name said, it’s named after its founder, who launched the company in 2009.
Unfortunately, the company was shutter down in January 2016 after the products being found containing damaging chemicals by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
But, 3 weeks later, the company relaunched as Pure Haven Essentials. The company seems to have learned its lesson from before, as they’re now legit USDA Organic Certified.

Pure Haven Essentials sells about a hundred of personal care products, and they’ve got the same focus on natural, safe ingredients that Ava Anderson did.
They claim their products are free of harmful chemicals and 100% made in-house at their manufacturing facility in Warren, RI.
Well, I genuinely hope their statements are true.

Customers' Feedbacks on Pure Haven Essentials
After I checked into their Facebook and several product pages, here’re the results that I obtained:
As of 4 May 2020, their Facebook page has received 293 customer reviews and scored an average of 4.9 out of 5-star rating.
The images below are some of the screenshots of the customer reviews.
Product Page Review
The images below are the screenshots of the customer reviews that I captured on some of their product pages.
Obviously, many people are praising both of the quality of their products and business opportunity.
And I’ve no intention to say they are fake. But I’ll still take these feedbacks with a grain of salts as from what I’ve noticed, many of them are affiliated with the company and are just after selling them to you.
How To Join Pure Haven Essentials And Make Money?
And here’s come the most exciting part: how do you make money with Pure Haven Essentials?
Most compensation plans of MLM companies are very sophisticated.
Even though Pure Haven Essentials’ compensation plan is only 21 pages long, it still took me a long time to understand how it works before I can explain it to you in plain English.
For your better understanding, I’ll give you a brief step-by-step explanation to show you the process of how you can join Pure Haven Essentials and make an income out of it.
Step 1: The Joining Fee
You need to pay a joining fee or purchase their enrolment packages to be an associate of Pure Haven Essentials.
The enrolment packages featured in their official website included:
Basic Kit – $199
Lifestyle Kit – $289.00
Business Builder Kit – $579.00
The only 2 differences between those packages are their income potential, and the value of product bundles you’ll get.
Step 2: Build Your Team & Earn Commission
Just like any other typical MLM company, you need to build up a downline team to maximize the amount of commissions you can earn.
Pure Haven Essentials pay out their commissions via a unilevel compensation structure.
A unilevel compensation structure places a member at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them, as shown in the diagram below.
4 Ways To Earn Commissions From Pure Haven Essentials
1) Retail Commission: You can earn a percentage of commission up to 50% through personal sales.
2) Residual Commissions: You can make a commission from your downline team up to 3 levels deep.
3) Generation Bonus: When you achieved a certain rank on the MLM leadership board, you’ll be qualified to earn a commission from your downline team on up to 5 levels deep.
4) Executive Bonus: You can receive a $500 cash bonus when you qualify at the Executive rank.
I have tried my very best to summarize everything for you and explain the highlights of their compensation plan in simple language.
If you wish to know more about their MLM program, but you don’t want to overwhelm yourself by reading their long pdf document.
I’ve found a short video explanation that shows how you can maximize the Pure Haven Essentials’ business opportunity. Feel free to check it out👇

4 Reasons Why I Don’t Recommend Pure Haven Essentials
1. Expensive Joining Fees & Products
This is a very straightforward reason. Their joining fees and products are quite costly.
That said, I believe it’ll only make your sales and recruitment journey tougher than you think as not everyone could afford the expensive fees.
2. Hidden Fees
There’s a monthly recurring fee that you need to pay to stay active and earn the commission.
The image below is the screenshot of the requirement I captured from their Consultant Agreement.
Many people are unaware of this term during sign-up, and end up thinking they’re charged for no reason.
3. Ava Anderson’s Ugly Past!
As I mentioned in the earlier chapter, Ava Anderson had involved in legal issues in her past company for making false claims on their products’ ingredients.
Even if it doesn’t have an impact on Pure Haven Essentials, but it is something to be aware of.
As there’s a saying goes: “A Leopard Never Changes Its Spots,” am I right?
4. Earning With MLM is Rarely A Great Idea😞
I can conclude one fact for you: As long as the company is related to MLM or network marketing, the income potential will be extremely low.
In other words, the success rate for you to make it big in MLM is Meager.
This could be told in the income disclosures of the MLM companies. Many people are making less than minimum wage.
Although Pure Haven Essentials doesn’t provide their income disclosure on the website, I’m pretty sure they’ve got the similar issue.
As evidence, here’s a screenshot from the FTC report states how difficult it is to be successful in MLM business.
The reporter has investigated 350 MLM companies and claimed that only 1% of people are able to make tons of money from MLM, and most of them are TOPPs (top-of-pyramid promoters). For the rest of the people, they LOSE MONEY.
That’s why I think that it’s challenging to make a stable income out of MLM unless you are one of the TOPPs who get into the network way earlier than anybody else.
What Do I like About Pure Haven Essentials?
1. Numerous Products
There’re about a hundred of different products with different categories offered by Pure Haven Essentials, and continue to grow every year. You can definitely find one product that meets your needs.
2. Easy-to-understand Compensation Plan…kinda
Yes. Their compensation plan is complicated.
But compared to the other MLM companies I’ve reviewed, Pure Haven Essentials’ compensation plan is easier to understand.
So, Is Pure Haven Essentials A SCAM?
Now to one of the most critical questions. Is Pure Haven Essentials a SCAM?
After hours of research, I can say that Pure Haven Essentials is not a scam.
It’s a legitimate MLM company that offers products to retail customers, and it also laid out every detail of their compensation plan for anyone interested in making money with them.
However, I can’t recommend this MLM opportunity to any newbie who wants to make money online. There are 3 reasons why do I say so:
- Expensive products might be difficult to market against other big brands. Thus, the income might be meager and not reliable.
- Let’s say you’re an extrovert who loves to socialize, and you’ve got a bunch of friends. But, how many of them do you think you can convince to join an MLM company? I bet only a few of them or even no one would choose to be your downlines.
- The founder has a bad reputation due to his past MLM company. To be honest, I wouldn’t be too confident with any business with her involvement.
You Deserve A Better Opportunity
Kudos to you! You’ve just read 1800+ words and still counting. If you make it this far, I commend your commitment.
Meanwhile, I can also feel how serious you’re when it comes to finding a proper way to make money from home.
As you might know, MLM is a flawed business model.
For sure, there’re still people who make a good amount of money with MLM. But it often represents a tiny group of people who joined the program early.
That said, it’s challenging for people who’re BOPs (bottom-of-pyramid) to make some serious dough because they’re running out of people to “recruit”.
Instead, Affiliate Marketing is my top recommended business model for anyone to make money from home.
The reason is simple…
Advantage 1: No Recruitment Needed
- You don’t need to “chase” after people and talk them into MLM opportunity where most people lose money.
Advantage 2: Freedom of Choice
- You can promote any products you love and not be restricted only to promote the products from one MLM company.
Advantage 3: Low Startup Cost
- Unlike MLM, where you’ll need to pay a pricy introductory fee to join, it takes little to no startup cost to kickstart your entrepreneurial journey in Affiliate Marketing.
You might think I’m biased, but I’m just telling the truths…
