What Is Navan Global? Exposes All The Facts You Need To Know

2020 is a difficult year for everyone;

Bushfire, race riots, Covid-19 pandemic, millions lose their jobs…Bad things are happening every day, and everyone is living in panic.

But MLM companies seem to ride this wave to expand their businesses by encouraging their distributors to recruit new sellers.

This is not my defamation, even the big media websites are reporting about this issue…

MLMs are using the coronavirus to recruit new sellers

I guess that’s why you’re here because you’ve been “hunt” by Navan distributor.

He/she might be your best friend or relative, sending numerous invitations to talk you into this new MLM opportunity and earn lucrative commissions.

But the old saying applied here: “If it sounds too good to be true, it is!”

You want an honest answer that tells you what is Navan global all about, and see if the opportunity is a great fit for you, am I right?

If so, you’re in the right place. And that’s the exact way to avoid scams and find a legitimate way to make money from home.

Rest assured, I’m not an associate with Navan Global (and I never will), so I won’t pitch you to buy any products or even join the company.

I spent over 8 hours writing this review based on my research and information available on Google. So you don’t need to.

That said, any recommendation and conclusions are only opinions and may not apply to all persons or situations.

Without further ado, let’s get started!

What Is Navan Global?

Navan Global is a North Carolina-based Multi-level Marketing (MLM) firm specializing in the CBD and general wellness niche in network marketing.

Trey Knight founds this company in late 2019. As they’re so new to the industry (not even 1 year old), there isn’t much information about Navan Global on the internet when writing this review.

Who Is Trey Knight?

Founder of Navan Global - Trey Knight

Navan Global website provides no information about its website about who’s the real person behind the company.

Upon research, I found a press release and a video indicating that Trey Knight is the founder and current CEO of the company.

Here’re the pieces of information that I just mentioned:

=> Press Release from GlobeNewsWire.com

=> YouTube Video: CEO Trey Knight on Team Launch LIVE

Trey’s Past Setbacks…

In the past, Trey Knight was one of the defendants in a civil lawsuit against Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing (FTHM) pyramid scheme, which had been shut down by FTC in 2013 and fined $169 million.

Before FTC took action on FTHM, Trey Knight joined Limu in 2011, promoting as an associate.

I’m not sure when does he left Limu. But after working with this company, he jumped on another MLM company called Sozo Global and served as President until 2016 when the company was sold off to Youngevity.

There aren’t many updates on Trey Knight from 2016 to 2019, which then brings us to Navan Global’s launch in late 2019.

How To Join Navan Global?

Pay to join an MLM company and earn commissions is a norm in the industry. That’s just one of the ways to keep the entire business model alive, in my opinion.

To be part of Navan Global, you’re required to purchase one of their packs that range from $199.95 ~ $999.95, viz:

  1. Starter Packs ($199.95 & $299.95)
  2. Business Builder Packs ($499.95)
  3. Ultimate Packs ($999.95)

The main difference between these packs is the amount of bundled products you get.

How To Make Money With Navan Global?

For some reason, most MLM compensation plans are convoluted and confusing.

Surprisingly, Navan compensation plan is not as sophisticated as other MLM companies that I reviewed before.

They’ve stated clearly on their webpage about the 4 main ways to get rewarded from the company.

4 main ways to get rewarded from Navan Global.
4 main ways to get rewarded from Navan Global.

1) Customer Acquisition Bonus

“Enroll a new member with a starter package and earn up to $250.”

2) Team Commissions

“a lucrative set amount each month based on organizational volume.”

3) Rank Advancement Bonus

“Earn a bonus of $100 to $200,000 each time you advance to the next rank.”

4) Retail Commissions

“Get paid 20% commission based on monthly sales volume generated by retail customers.”

One thing to take note here is that the company is utilizing unilevel compensation structure (as shown in the figure below) in their compensation plan.

Unilevel Compensation Structure
Unilevel Compensation Structure

There’re 14 rank levels in Navan Global. Therefore, I reckon that the 4 rewards will be highly reliant on your ranking.

That said, the bigger your downline team, the higher you would be ranked. And hence, the more commissions you’ll be qualified to earn.

Consequently, what you should expect in the first 1~2 years with the company is to spend COUNTLESS hours on recruiting downlines who could help you branch out your circle and maximize your earning potential.

If you wish to learn more about the nitty-gritty of Navan’s compensation plan, you can watch the video explanation below. I hope this helps.

Pros

1) Brand-New Company

You probably know that a brand-new MLM company usually stays hot at first, and the earning potential starts to phase out after a few years.

Navan Global is not even 1 year old at the time of writing this review, so it’s a fairly new MLM company. They don’t even list on Better Business Bureau (BBB) yet.

That’s why I think its potential is still considerable now.

2) Easy-To-Understand Compensation Plan

As opposed to other companies I reviewed before, Navan Global has an easy-to-understand compensation plan.

They have simplified all the details you need to know about their MLM program in plain language, and they don’t use many complex terms that could “wrack your brain”.

This saves a lot of my time as I don’t need to do extra work on researching their compensation plan like I usually did when reviewing other MLM companies in the past.

Cons

1) Monthly Recurring Fee

To get any residual commission, the distributor must generate at least 100PV or more every month, which is equivalent to an extra $140+ a month in the purchase, tax, and shipping if you couldn’t hit the target.

Additionally, you MUST have at least 2 active personal enrollees and reach a certain volume quota.

2) Your Rank Is Your Business

This piece of information is obtained from a commenter on TheAffiliateDoctor.com:

“Well, once you obtain a certain level, you MUST maintain that level of volume every month after you reach that level in order to have a “residual income” at all.

Every month starts over, which means you or your downline must continue recruiting and buying.”

From the message above, we can see that Navan Global emphasizes recruitment heavily.

Well, to me, this isn’t that surprising as I know that most MLM companies encourage recruitment more than product selling.

In MLM, your ranking is your business. The only way out to get a better rank is to RECRUIT and RECRUIT and RECRUIT…

That’s why it’s called Multi-Level Marketing.

Wouldn’t you agree?

3) Overpriced Products

Quite frankly, Navan Global doesn’t sell any revolutionary product. CBD oils are everywhere, and people could get it elsewhere at a lower price.

Let’s take Amazon as an example…

Product Comparison
Product Comparison

As you can see from the figure above, you can always find a cheaper CBD oil on Amazon, which has the same therapeutic benefits as Navan CBD Oils.

Most MLM companies price their product higher than commercial brands because they want to get their margins and guarantee commission distribution among the members.

And trust me, a lot of your customers will almost always go for commercial brands over MLM brands not just because of the lower pricing, but also the former is more popular, and the results are always guaranteed.

4) Expensive Packs

This is a very straightforward reason.

I am sure very few people are willing to buy into the pricey packs and join the MLM program that doesn’t guarantee success.

Personally, I think that Navan’s expensive packs will make the “recruitment journey” tougher than you can imagine, let alone the company is in a competitive niche and selling overpriced products.

Most people just couldn’t cover their investment after joining any MLM programs.

So, Is Navan Global A Scam?

Don’t you dare lie to me GIF

Now to the one most crucial verdict: “Is Navan Global A Scam?”

Technically, they aren’t a scam, nor a pyramid scheme.

Let me explain…

Navan Global do have actual products and proper incentives that encourage their distributors to recruit new members into the MLM program.

But, the distributors could choose to make money just by selling products even though the earning potential will be restricted.

A pyramid scheme doesn’t have such a proper system, and the only way people could make money is by recruiting.

However, Navan’s opportunity is something that I will never recommend to anybody as I am aware of how low the income potential of MLM is.

If my words can’t convince you, then I think a report from FTC might can:

FTC states that only 1% of people are actually making money in any MLM program.
FTC Report

The FTC reporter has investigated 350 MLM companies and claimed that only 1% of people are able to make tons of money from MLM, and most of them are TOPPs (top-of-pyramid promoters).

For the rest of the people, they LOSE MONEY.

That’s why it’s challenging to make a stable income out of MLM unless you are one of the TOPPs.

You Deserve A Better Opportunity

Kudos to you! You’ve just read 2000+ words and still counting. If you make it this far, I commend your commitment.

Meanwhile, I can also feel how serious you’re when it comes to finding a proper way to make money from home.

As you might know, MLM is a flawed business model.

For sure, there’re still people who make a good amount of money with MLM. But it often represents a tiny group of people who joined the program early.

That said, it’s challenging for people who’re BOPs (bottom-of-pyramid) to make some serious dough because they’re running out of people to “recruit”.

MLM Unilevel Compensation Structure

Instead, Affiliate Marketing is my top recommended business model for anyone to make money from home.

The reason is simple…

Advantage 1: No Recruitment Needed

  • You don’t need to “chase” after people and talk them into MLM opportunity where most people lose money.

Advantage 2: Freedom of Choice

  • You can promote any products you love and not be restricted only to promote the products from one MLM company.

Advantage 3: Low Startup Cost

  • Unlike MLM, where you’ll need to pay a pricy introductory fee to join, it takes little to no startup cost to kickstart your entrepreneurial journey in Affiliate Marketing.

  1. I think I am going to bookmark your website among those that teach me what are the products present in the market – this helps me a lot if I want to stay updated without reading millions of websites, thank you! I didn’t know Navan and I can tell you that I really appreciate your review, especially because of your efforts and researches to really understand who’s behind the company.

  2. I’ve always emphasized  the fact that u don’t want to have anything to do with MLM companies because of the difficulty that is their in making money from them. Navan global would have been a good offer but it is over priced and obviously the only way you can make money from it is by referring people to the company.

    1. I totally agreed with what you’ve said, Andy.

That’s why I often recommend beginners to try affiliate marketing instead of MLM because it has lower risk.

Still, there’re legit MLMs out there, but I can say 90% of them are borderline illegal.

  3. Thank you so much for sharing with us a beautiful and informative article. The main content of this article is about Navan Global. It is truly remarkable that you have presented this topic so well in your article. I have learned a lot by reading your article and gained a lot of knowledge about it. Of the points mentioned in your article, I like How To Make Money With Navan Global. Honestly, MLM will not bring much benefit to the people because they follow the pyramid scheme. Also, if I hadn’t read your article completely, I wouldn’t have understood how MLM companies like Navan Global make money by misleading people.

Finally, I also agree with you that affiliate marketing is a more easy and legitimate way to make money than MLM companies.

  4. It is true that out there today there is a big wave of MLM recruitment going in and even my sister has somehow become a part of that wave. It’s funny but this is something that usually happens and now it has happened which means that people are falling for it. Before the Corona virus I have heard of this navan global but it’s good to see more information about it from you. This is good stuffm keep it up.

  5. I have heard the name Navan Global quiet a few times and I must say it’s really nice to ready a very awesome article on them as it would save me all the stress of wanting to do research to check their legitimacy and in think they are worth a trial as you don’t get to see many brands like this so let’s just give them a trial

  6. I came across this offer and it seemed to be a good one at first. But then I read a bit about Trey’s past setbacks, before I read your post and it made me want to research a bit more about this company. And I am glad I did.

I think it’s not worth giving it a try. To keep it short, its products are overpriced and I’m not interested.
