What Is Amare Global?

Amare Global is an MLM company that manufacture types of mental wellness and nutritional products.

It was founded by Hiep Tran and Shawn Talbott back in 2016. So it’s a pretty new company compared to other MLM heavyweights like Herbalife or Trivita with more than 30 years in the industry.

According to Amare’s official website, they claimed that a team of expert scientists entirely backs the research and development (R&D) of every product.

However, the reason why I have doubts about the quality of their products is because of the co-founder of Amare – Shawn Talbott.

Shawn Talbott is currently the head of the R&D department in Amare. However, He used to involve in some serious legal issues with his past MLM company back in 2005, which I’ll explain in more detail in the later chapter.

Founders Background

Hiep Tran

After research, there’s no information to claim that Hiep Tran has any MLM experience in his career.

Based on his bio on LinkedIn, he said that he is the co-founder and principal of Meritus Payment Solutions in 2008. But this company eventually got acquired by Optimal payments in 2014.

After that, he became the CEO of payment processing for Paysafe (Formerly Optimal Payments). He resigned 2 years later and founded Amare Global at that particular year.

Hiep Tran seems like a very successful entrepreneur from what I’ve read so far.

Shawn Talbott

Here’s come Shawn Talbott – The guy who makes me suspect the Amare’s product line. Talbott had involved in some legal issues with his past health and wellness MLM company, CortiSlim.

Back in 2005, Talbott and the other two defendants were sued by FTC for exaggerating their products’ benefits. They said it could cure every disease on earth and over-charged their products. As a result, they had to pay $4.5 million in cash from the lawsuits.

You can read all the complete FTC statement about Shawn Talbott at here.

And here’re my questions:

  • Do you think it’s suitable to let someone who has a bad past of falsely advertising products to be the head of the R&D department?
  • Will you believe his words if he claims that the product works for you?

To me, that’s certainly is a clear red flag

Amare Global Products And Prices

Amare Global markets a range of wellness products that solely target what they call the  “gut-brain axis.” It is a medical term used to define practically any system involving gut-bacteria.

To make it more understandable, they’re selling the supplements that enable you to think better and give you the essential nutrients.

They also claimed that their supplements are rooted in traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurveda.

Here’re some of their product packages:

Product PackagesPrice
FundaMentals Pack®$134.95
Launch Pack$849.95
Family Wellness Pack$459.95
Core Wellness Pack$188.95
Amare Kids Pack™$117.95

You can check out all their products here.

Customer Reviews On The Products

If you check their profile on Facebook, you can see they have excellent reviews from their customers. Many people are praising both the quality of the product and the business opportunity.

I must admit, I was surprised at how warmly people embraced the products and with almost no bad reviews.

I don’t see any reason at all to doubt that these comments are fake. But still, I think people should take these reviews with a grain of salt.

How To Join Amare Global And Make Money?

This might be the part that you’re most interested in. After research on Amare’s compensation plan, I found there’re two ways to make money with Amare Global:

  1. Earn commission from selling the products.
  2. Earn commission from recruiting new members into their MLM network.

The compensation plan of Amare Global is about 20 pages long and quite complicated, to be honest. Hence, I’ll do my best to summarize everything for you and make it understandable as much as possible.

I’ve prepared a step-by-step guide to show you the basic things you need to know about Amare’s compensation plan, and how to get started and earn money with them.

Step 1: Choose a membership plan

They have 2 membership plans for you to choose to be their associate.

Membership PlansBenefitsPrice
Preferred Customers1.25% Off on retail product prices

2.Get free products when you refer other people as customers.
$24.95/year
Amare Global Wellness Partner1.25% Off on retail product prices.

2. Qualified to earn more commissions with the company’s compensation plan.

3. Get a business starter kit, systems, and tools.

4. Requirement: Need to sell 100 PV (personal volume) every month to stay active.

$69.95/year or $849.95 (one-time fee)

Step 2: Understanding the basic of their compensation plan and start making money

There’re 4 Cash Bonuses that you need to know about their compensation plan:

  1. Personal Customer Volume Bonus
  2. Heart Start Bonus
  3. Me and My Three Downlines Bonus
  4. Unilevel MLM Program

Personal Customer Volume Bonus

You earn commissions from your personally enrolled customers. The more your personally enrolled customer purchase, the more money you’ll receive.

Heart Start Bonus

Amare Global Cash Bonus: Heart Start Bonus.

When a new member is enrolled under you, you’ll be rewarded with Heart Start bonuses during the new recruit’s first 60 days.

Me and My Three Downlines Bonus

Amare Global Cash Bonus: Me and My Three Downlines Bonus.

When you enroll 3 wellness partners, you’ll make $135.

Then, you need to train them to become your loyal downlines and assist each of them to enrol 3 more new members.

With this, you’ll be earning an additional $250 when your own 3 downlines have enrolled 3 partners each.

I know it’s starts getting overwhelming, don’t worry if you don’t understand the 3 cash bonuses that I explained above.

All you need to know is the last cash bonus that I’m going to talk about: Unilevel MLM Program. This is the program that affects your earning the most.

Unilevel MLM Program

Amare Global Unilevel MLM Program.

Again, don’t worry if you don’t understand what’s the chart is talking about. It just shows you’ve got the chance to earn commissions for up to 7 levels. In other words, you can build a team up to 7 tiers and share a large number of commissions from them.

To break it down, here’s how your network looks like:

Unilevel Compensation Structure

Although the figure above only shows until the second level, you can still imagine how significant is the number of people who’re under you at the seventh level. If your downlines are loyal, you’ll be making millions every month.

It sounds like a get-rich-quick program, but the truth is, it’s hard enough to sell Amare’s expensive products, let alone build up your solid team.

However, it doesn’t mean you can’t do it unless you’re an introverted person like me.

Pros

Decent Commissions

Comparing to other MLM companies, Amare Global’s compensation plan is more appealing to me.

Moreover, they allow you to charge your own price as long as the price is above the product cost. I think most MLM companies don’t have this kind of benefit because you’re only allowed to sell based on their given price in most cases.

Relatively New MLM Company – Higher Chance To Succeed

No doubt, if you want to succeed in MLM business, join the network as earlier as possible will helps you a lot in achieving success.

Amare Global is still a relatively new MLM company which only operated for about 3 years. It’s a big opportunity for anyone who wants to make money from MLM business because it’s now still a “blue ocean” – which means it might not that saturated yet.

Cons

Earning with MLM is rarely a good idea

If you’ve experienced in building your team in any MLM business, you might know what I’m going to say.

Here’s a screenshot from the FTC report states how difficult it is to be successful in MLM business.

FTC states that only 1% of people are actually making money in any MLM program.

The reporter has investigated 350 MLM companies and claimed that only 1% of people are able to make tons of money from MLM, and most of them are TOPPs (top-of-pyramid promoters). For the rest of the people, they LOSE MONEY.

That’s why I think that it’s challenging to make a stable income out of MLM unless you are one of the TOPPs.

If you don’t recruit, you’ll lose.

Yes, you’ve read it right. One of the reasons why I don’t like Amare Global is because their compensation plan emphasizes heavily on recruitment.

However, this is not surprising for me as I know most of the MLM companies out there implement the same thing to boost their sales.

At Amare Global, you only can make good money by recruiting new members into the network, and then train them to become your loyal downlines who can sell the products for you.

Your friends and relatives might stay away from you.

Let’s face it; nobody likes to be sold. Nobody likes a salesperson who always asks them to buy something or join their program.

Especially if the person has never heard of Amare Global’s products before, I don’t think they’ll buy it or even consider to join their MLM program.

Also, most people hate MLM. I know this might be hurting for some people, but it’s just an undeniable fact. If you’re like me, you probably don’t want to ruin your relationships and to sell to your friends and relatives about some “great opportunity”.

A woman refused to accept the deal from a salesperson

Expensive Products That Are Hard To Sell

Most of the Amare’s Product Packs are quite costly. I can guarantee this will increase the difficulty for you to sell.

If someone can buy similar products manufactured by generic and commercial brands at a lower cost, why should they even spend time on Amare’s products? I hope you get my point.

Shawn Talbott’s Ugly Past!

As I mentioned in the earlier chapter, Shawn Talbott had involved in legal issues for exaggerating products’ benefits, and to try and sell more in “infomercials.”

Even if it doesn’t have an impact on Amare Global, but it is something to be aware of.

As there’s a saying goes: “A Leopard Never Changes Its Spots,” am I right?

So, Is Amare Global a Scam?

Don’t you dare lie to me GIF

In conclusion, Amare Global is not a scam. It is a legitimate MLM company instead. They have retail products that distributors can sell, and the products seem pretty good.

However, I can’t recommend this MLM opportunity to any newbie who wants to make money online. There are 3 reasons why do I say so:

  1. Expensive products might be difficult to market against other big brands. Thus, the income might be meager and not reliable.
  2. Let’s say you’re an extrovert who loves to socialize, and you’ve got a bunch of friends. But, how many of them do you think you can convince to join an MLM company? I bet only a few of them or even no one would choose to be your downlines.
  3. The co-founder has a bad reputation due to his past MLM companies. To be honest, I wouldn’t be too confident with any business with his involvement.

You Deserve A Better Opportunity

Kudos to you! You’ve just read 2100+ words and still counting. If you make it this far, I commend your commitment.

Meanwhile, I can also feel how serious you’re when it comes to finding a proper way to make money from home.

As you might know, MLM is a flawed business model.

For sure, there’re still people who make a good amount of money with MLM. But it often represents a tiny group of people who joined the program early.

That said, it’s challenging for people who’re BOPs (bottom-of-pyramid) to make some serious dough because they’re running out of people to “recruit”.

MLM Unilevel Compensation Structure

Instead, Affiliate Marketing is my top recommended business model for anyone to make money from home.

The reason is simple…

Advantage 1: No Recruitment Needed

  • You don’t need to “chase” after people and talk them into MLM opportunity where most people lose money.

Advantage 2: Freedom of Choice

  • You can promote any products you love and not be restricted only to promote the products from one MLM company.

Advantage 3: Low Startup Cost

  • Unlike MLM, where you’ll need to pay a pricy introductory fee to join, it takes little to no startup cost to kickstart your entrepreneurial journey in Affiliate Marketing.

You might think I’m biased, but I’m just telling the truths…

  1. I had some experiences with MLM companies in the past, including a company whose product is a water purifier. I still push through and as time goes by I realized that I was in the bottom of the tree always with no way I can recruit someone below me and sell that water purifier because people already know about the ways of this company. After that experience, I am quick to dismiss anyone trying to lure me into multi – level – marketing, once I sense the common things about MLM companies. Its the recruitment, it doesn’t matter if the tree looks vertical or horizontal, doesn’t matter if there are products or services to sell, it is always the pioneers or the apex predators who gets everything.

I love that you backed your article with proof of FTC charges on one of the founders of Amare Global and the article is concise, you impart well on your audience too.

    1. I agreed with what you’ve said, Lemuel. Indeed, start an MLM business is really not a good idea as most of the time, we’re the one at the bottom of the network.

We’ll need to work twice harder than anyone who’s already on the network, and there’s no guarantee we’ll succeed or even earn enough monthly income.

That’s why I prefer affiliate marketing and don’t even spend time on thinking of MLM. Thanks again for your honest comment! Best wishes for your productive day.

  2. Honestly, I agree with you, it’s not a good idea to let someone who has had a very bad history with the business become a person’s CEO. His history is really bad enough to write one off trying it out. Apart from the very obvious truth that the MLM business model is not really good enough for anyone to try out. I’m have to read your satisfying review. It really did reveal a whole lot to me. Thanks!

    1. Hello, Riley. It’s good to see you again! Thanks for your support to read and leave such an honest comment on my article. Indeed, the bad past of the co-founder of the company is a Big Red Flag for me.

Thanks again for your honest comment! Best wishes for your productive day.

  3. This is really a great post and thanks so much for shading this out here. The review about Amare gold is sure a good one that has given so much insights to its operations. Thank you. I believe that there are a lot more to be achieved than just sticking with an mlm program like this especially considering the niche they are in. Thank you for sharing this out here. I’d like to stay clear this amare gold.

    1. Hi, Angela. Thanks for taking your precious time to read and review my article. I’m so glad to hear that you’re able to get some values from it.

  4. Sorry for the times you been scammed, at least you’ve learned now and that’s good. Till date, there are lots of people who still venture into online businesses without having a full understanding of how the business operates and at the end of the day they lose their money. Amare global had a very nice niche and as far as I’m concerned its the only good thing about the Company. Expensive and MLM schemes in just one company should make you be suspicious of this business. Thanks for sharing

    1. Thanks for your concern, Benson. I appreciate that.

It’s also my honor to hear that my article does serve you well. In fact, I really have trauma in MLM program, that’s why I’m publishing such an article to help beginners so they can think twice before investing their money into any potential scam.

Thanks again for your honest comment! Best wishes for your productive day.

  5. Thank you for this detailed review of Amare Global MLM business. What struct me as odd was the cost of these supplements. The prices are outrageous, the business model may not be a scam but the products are a rip off. It’s not like these supplement cures cancer etc. You did a good job explaining the complicated payment plan. I have just been recruited into one of these MLM. They expect me to buy the products every month, I hesitated because I was looking for ways to make money, instead the business demands that I spend money. When I brought it up to my recruiter, she explained that it takes money to make money. Reading your review, let me realized that I will not recoup my money. So thank you for this great post. I will quit the MLM and go back to other online businesses like selling on eBAY or blogging.

    1. Hi, Joan Foretia. I’m sorry to hear that you have been scammed by an irresponsible scammer before, I understand how you feel.

However, I must thank you for taking your precious timer to read through my article and share your experience with me. I’m glad to hear that my content does serve you well.

  6. Oh man the Multi level marketing people going after another nutritional and health market.  These types of companies love to tap into this health industry and push all of these unproven methods and nutritional products.  I  mean come on where are they coming up with this stuff and who is creating this type of MLM company.  I used to be in 2 MLM’s so this is definitely something that I am passionate about warning people to get into this.  You really have to do your research on all of this and make sure if you ever do anything in MLM that you are for certain about everything in it.  But just like the author of this post I would say do not do this or really any MLM.

    1. Hi, Eric. It’s my pleasure to see that you can get some values out of my content.

Indeed, MLM is not a good idea for people who’re just starting out to make money online. Instead, affiliate marketing might be a better choice for newbies because of its low start-up cost, and low risk, compared to MLM.

Thanks again for your honest comment. I appreciate that.
